My name is Jack Blass, and I am studying Media Studies at AS level (as well as Business Studies, Psychology and Sociology). As Media Studies covers how we present and perceive the world of communication I hope it will benefit all my other subjects and how I am generally able to express myself.

This is my first ever blog as well as my first
involvement in the film making process. I hope through this blog, you will find
my journey into the world of film making develops in an interesting and
entertaining way as my knowledge of what is possible increases.
Like most people my only exposure to film has been as a
viewer, with The Shawshank Redemption standing out as my favorite movie to date.
Music is also important to me and I particularly enjoy R&B
with artists such as Kanye West.
